hi fox!
i'm not sure if i'll be any help to ya, but i guess i'm all you've got at the mo! lol! well to clean up my chrome i simply bought some chrome polish from wal mart and polished the crap outta it. it worked pretty darn good if you ask me. even restored most of it to the mirror surface, and removed most of the rust spots. alot of mine is shot though, and the chrome inside my car is pretty much dead. you can get things replated though. i havent had that done yet myself as i hear its expensive and takes a while. my gauge surround (forgive me i forget the right term) i painted a metalic silver as it just looked so crappy. i figure that would do till i got it professionally done. the paint you can buy as the model car stuff, it's pretty good. well i hope this helps. best of luck!
