My gear drive is almost as loud as a supercharger sometimes. Depending on which one you get, I've got a quiet one and would hate to have the loud one. You hear it at idle and really hear it when you blip the throttle a bit, but can't hardly hear it at all when decellarating. But they all sound a little different.
