I'd say stick it out. I know my one paper will be nothing in comparison, but my teacher gave us a research paper at the beginning of the semester that said it needed to be 7 pages long. Two days before it was due she noticed this and said how it actually has to be 22 pages long. Doesn't seem right but apparently she's allowed to do that. If it's possible, do it. You'll feel pretty good about it when it's all done.
