Kodak
DC3400 2 Megapixel. It takes 1760X1168 pixel pictures. I actually shrank those to 500X300 for the bandwidth challenged.
Kodak is not a sexy name eletronics supplier, but the cameras work great. 1. Get one of 2+ megapixels 2. At least 2X optical zoom, digital zoom is garbage stuff. 3. Compact flash ready, I have a 128MB card, it holds 221 high quality pictures. 4. You must get the LCD viewfinder type, they roxor, mine is 1.5" With 2megapixels you can print out up to 5X8" print that rival professional. With 3megapixel you can go 8X10 prints. I drowned the poor shaft because it may be a month before lift off of the 5.0 and I did not want any rust. Will extra hurt anything?
