![]() My recomendation is if you want the edelbrock carb then be prepared to buy a good mechanical andvance distributor in the future it will run on the stock distributor it just won't alloe proper ignition advance.
Yes you will need the kickdown lickage thing they make for fords or convert to a cable kickdown either way more money spent. Overall my recomendation is to buy a holley but each person has their prefrence. PS if you are buying from summit and looking for a deal then talk to the phone order guy about there intake and carb deals they sell but don't advertise anymore a carb intake and aircleaner package for a lot less then buying all of it together they oackage them themselves and the only drawback in the way you are talking is it comes with a holley instead of a ede. pss i live at sea level and for day to day driving the jetting that comes in the holley as always been almost right on. (little rich in summer and little lean in winter but never enough one way or another to hurt a motor just enough to not get the very best et i could)
