When I installed mine I was bleeding all over, had like a dozen cuts all over my hands and arms...
 Then the darn thing came apart on me a few months later and took out a brand new radiator, my hood, overflow bottle, fan clutch, shroud and several other things resulting in about $2000 worth of damage. Flex fans suck! Do yourself a favor and save up for an electric fan.
