Future modifications.
At the time there weren't any sub-frame connectors available for the side exiting exhaust.

Plans were for this to be a weekend track car.
But as time goes on plans change.

Plans are for this car to be a higher hp(500rwhp+) car later on down the road so the side exhaust became an obstacle for tightening up the ride.
