I live in the same area as you and I used to live really close to MPE racing in Taunton. They do seem a tid bit high priced but not enough to go shopping around for. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you get what you pay for. The guys there do great work and I will definitely go there when I have money for my gears. I have a 95 GT and they gave me a quote of about $550 for parts and labor and they are going to fix the speedo gear as well. I would check them out. It can't hurt to call them to get a quote. I'm sure that it will be a different price for a 89, that is what it sounded like when I was talking to them at least.
