No, it will have no effect on your computer. I would say check the boards for a used H-Pipe. You can pick one up for $50-$75 It will fit the best and give you better performance (2 1/2") then just cutting out the 2 1/4" pipes and welding in new ones. Plus you can keep your stock one and throw it on when it's time to take emissions. You will love the sound and power increase.
