Yep, everything will work out fine. It's a routine surgery for those oprhopods followed by physical therapy. I'm actually working on my masters in PT right now. You'll be getting some exercises to restore lost strength and flexibility. Those may not be the most fun thing to do, but for this type of injury and rehab, it's the magic ticket. Unfortunately, there isn't some machine we can hook you up to to make it all better (except for some ultra sound, moist heat, and E-stim/IFC you'll likely be getting for prophylaxis). Exercise is the drug of choice for PT. Stick with the rehab, and you'll get better much more quickly.
BTW, what was the cause? Chronic inflamation, an irregular acromion, trauma? --nathan
