Read the story, and you guessed it:

Witnesses told police that two 2002 Mitsubishi Lancers, one yellow and one black, were traveling on Georgia Avenue before turning west onto Norbeck Road about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

I own a Lancer. Its a great little car for hopping around town.
One thing it is NOT, is a street terror.

Underpowered, small\narrow tires, and not exactly "at home" in the high speed arena. (If it even makes it to high speeds...)

The car is in no way a Lancer EVO by any stretch of the imagination.

I can easily see my Lancer getting out of shape over 100 mph if I did anything stupid.

Its sad, and its stupid.... nothing else you can really say.
