![]() I saw where someone posted the specs here. Hopefully we'll get them. Buying a cam is difficult already but to buy without knowing the specs, that will never happen here. The reason for my research in this cam is because Ed Holdenberg with MM&FF just put one in a car with POWER HEADS. Where as before he suggested a comp cam HR258. Which is close to a wr1087. But I can't help buy wonder why he went with the n-21.

![]() 88 - Good luck getting those specs. I was real up front with the Anderson gang about what I was looking for in a cam, but that I wanted to know the specs before I purchased it for my new 331 combo...no such luck. They were tighter than Ft. Knox with those numbers. They would recommend the N whatever this or the B-11 that and explain where it would make power and overlap, etc...but not the real deal specs. Of course I told them I wouldn't blab, but hey, they don't know me from Adam.
It's just the way they run their business and that's fine with me. I ended up shoving my Steeda #19 cam back-in for now and will probably upgrade my cam with I get my ProCharger. Anyways, good luck. And, if you do get any of the specs...look me up! E

![]() This is a big no no in my book. IMO you should never install a cam in a race engine without degreeing it. And how can you degree it if you don't know the specs. You need to know when the valves are supposed to open, and what lift and duration it is supposed to have at a certin position of the crank. Without out the specs and knowing where to degree it to you are puting all your trust in Anderson, and your timing set. 9x out of 10 it will be dead on, but there is that 10% that there will be something off and the need to get a set of offset cam sprocket dowells to get it all back on track. This will be critical if you ae in a limited class where every hp counts. How will you know this without the specs
![]() This all sounds like a marketing scam to make people think that this is the best thing seince sliced bread. I'm sure the cams are good, but other people can do it just as good with the cam specs in the box. wade

![]() I'm not sure. From what I understand you don't get them because people will let out the big secret. If they do that is great, but who is going to stop the person from posting the specs on the internet? Do you have to sign a legal contract not to tell

![]() I have a buddy with an Anderson cam in his '93 Cobra... actually, I made the road trip from Peoria to Clinton with him to pick up some of the misc. goodies.
You do, in fact, get a cam card (specs) with the N-what and B-who cams... I'll give him a call later and get the specs from him and see which one he got, because I can't remember... I want to say N-21, but I will find out for sure and post the specs, unless someone else beats me to it. later -Ryan |

.512/.512 -- lift w/ 1.7 rocker ratio 110 or 112 overlap ...he wasn't sure/couldn't remember exactly. He didn't have the cam card w/ him when I called, so the specs he gave me were off the top of his head, so to speak. Hope this helps ![]() |

![]() Thanks Ultra-man, I knew it was close to the E, F, and HR 258, WG1087, baby crower and such. They are all so close, who knows what would be better? Yea, I will never install a cam blind, emagine that, "here's your cam boy, just put it in."
