Always liked those Z's!!! I dont know how much his mods gave him, but I'd have to say he must not have had a stock turbo in his car. Reason I think so is that 2 years ago I raced a 300ZX TT on the way to work, a former neighbor of mine, from a stoplight, & I had a carlength on him at 75-80 when I shut down for the rapidly approaching red light. Boy, was he pissed to lose to a stock 93 Cobra. I really think you should easily smoke those things, but I still love 'em! Take it easy & I'll let you know if I ever get to come down your way! Later!
