The black thing is just a hose....
The MAC setup on the picture is just using a hose instead of a hard extension that the BBK seems to use for your IAC. Either model should connect easily to your IAC and ventilation runs... You should have nothing to worry about. So we're back to the first question... which one LOOKS better...
