![]() Well, some people would rather drive a weaker car, that's all.
My new issue of SEMA NEWS came today, and there's a big article about Japans attempt at retaking the sport compact market. It's a sad joke. The new 350Z is cute, kinda, but it peaks at 287hp. The WRX is a measly 227hp, although the mighty "Sti" version will be out soon, and will raise the available hp to a whopping 260. Yawn. Then there's the all-new Mazda RX-8, with the new generation RENESIS rotary engine. It puts out a weak 260hp, but I must admit, now that it's a 4-door w/ suicide doors, it really looks like a clown car. These are all in the same $35,000 range, and will be released in similar quantities, as the 390hp Ford Mustang Cobra. Hell, people bought the Yugo when it came out. I guess there is just no accounting for taste. ![]() Take care, ~Chris
