Hey, thanks for replies. I'm in VA, and I'm pretty sure I can pass the inspection if the sniffer goes well and the inspector can see that the smog equipment is present in the engine bay, even if it isn't the same as the standard car. I talked with one inspector about putting in a different engine and he said he doesn't care as long as the smog equipment is there.
So, my main concern is to pass the sniffer. I'll do some more research and see what comes up. T. |
