![]() There is definatly something wrong with you car and/or driving! I say it must be the car. I have an 87 GT 160000 miles on it, bone stock(no K&N, nothing), 235 tires and I ran an 14,7 @ 93,5mph. I launched by slipping the clutch and shifted around 6000 everytime.
Like Skyman said with that trap speed its not a traction problem, or maybe your letting the pedal go before the end. My 86 Trans Am with stock 305(LG4, 165 hp) managed a 16.2 @ 82mph. You should not have a problem getting low 15's with a stock Stang. My friends 88 Notch did a 15,4 and he cant drive for ****. Keep us posted, Nik |
