The question is HOW FAST DO YOU WANT TO GO? I agree with gofastlx on this subject. If you just want a street/daily driver, go with a mild 289/302. Go 351 for hauling butt. I pulled the 5.0L out of my '88 and am going to replace it with a wild 351W. When that motor no longer feeds my need for speed a 351C goes in it's place. I'm working on the latter now. You do realize the simple equation of speed=money. I really finding this out now with the 351C. Anyways figure out your budget and wants and go for it!!!!!
