![]() Take into consideration the SIZE of the engine bay. Not alot of room to work with in a 65. Consider things like headers, valve covers, brake system mods, suspension mods, etc. Will the parts you want all FIT happily? Are there version of the parts you want for this particular engine-car combo (ex. headers) ? While they are all pretty much the same, make sure. I've spent the past year and a half doing a 6 cyl to 347 (5.0) swap on my 66. Things like serpentine belt system, power dual master cylinder, Ignition system were very space critical. Think about the entire project, not just engine size.
