165s are great heads. There are numerous guys out there making well over 300rwhp with them, which is good for high 11's or better with a good driver and hook. The cobra intake you have, unless well ported, will be holding you slightly back of your goal, but by no means is it impossible with it. You will also need a more aggressive cam. I'd look into a custom grind from Ed Curtis of Flowtech Induction, or one of Rick Anderson's hi-rev cam/valvespring setups. In an unported comparison, the AFR's will outflow the TFS heads, but I've heard that the TFS's can be ported to be a better head than the AFR's. The emissions part really has to do with where you live. If you have smog testing, then get the legal ones. If not, get the non legal ones, and delete your EGR good luck, -drew
