The rocker arm ratio is the ratio, to one, that the camshaft lobe lift will be multiplied by when in use to determine the valve lift. An E cam has a lobe lift of .311". When used with 1.6 rockers, that works out to a valve lift of .498". With 1.7 rockers, that would make the valve lift .529".
