Good man for having the *alls to give it a go, even if you went down in flames.

Sorry I cant help you on this one. If I had to do this, I would follow the owners manual for the car, buy several spools of wire, and go at it with my soldering gun and some heatshrink. I hate Ford wiring, and I did some moving of components to clean up the engine bay that required splicing and soldering.
