I think you mean me. They are not as extreme as you think, this is a different motor that likes to rev not a 5.0. Ask some of the Cobra guys out there 4.30's are a mild gear for them and some go as high as 4.56's or 4.88's on daily drivers.

FWIW my 4th gear pulls harder than my car did stock in 2nd gear.
