That intake gave me the most problems. I have tall valve covers to clear the stud girdle and the intake didn't even come close to clearing. So then put on a 1" spacer between the upper and lower and it still wouldn't fit. I had to grind some on the bottom of the intake to clear the valve cover and it still touched a little. I got it to work and then my hood wouldn't close And that is the reason for the scoop that I don't like. It is a good intake for performance, but the victor 5.0 was easier to make it work and much better performance.
