Yeah I see what you are saying and I certainly am not going to doubt you.
But back to the question at hand 96-98 cobra weighs about the same as a 99+ GT and has 45 more HP. Seems like a no brainer to me. I rape the GT's, You hardly ever see the 96+ stangs at my track. Just LS-1's, Cobras and 5.0's. As soon as I put the 03 cobra pinion brace on my 01' cobra. I started pulling consistant 13.6's and 7's @3000ft. The very fastest 99+ GT's are running 14.5's at the altitude. I need Gears bad
