I dunno if you've converted to the R112..it's an easy conversion, since the old freon isnt readily available anymore and getting REAL expensive... but in anycase.. you can by a charging kit at any autoparts store and the cans too.... but there is a LOW PRESSURE cut off switch for the AC system a believe, so it wont work if there isnt enough freon in the lines... the nice things about converting is you dont have to take it to a place to do it... you can do it all yourself... and it's reasonably cheap... though if you DO recahrge the system, make sure you use the ultra violet oil... this way if it's leaking, wich it probabably is... you'll be able to find the leak with a black light....I know I did mine and the condenser connectors were leaking... put in some new O rings and it was good to go...
