The 1.7 rockers with the B cam is a proven combination. I run it in my motor and am very happy with the way it performs. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of people that say it's outdated, and maybe it is, but the bottom line is that it's been a great runner for a long time. I'm sure if you went with a custom cam designed just for your set up, you will pick up a couple of tenths over the B and 1.7's, but you'll spend alot of money for the custom cam too. If your at the track alot and looking for every tenth you can get, that's the way to go, but if you have a street car that ya take to the track now and then the 'ol B with 1.7's is still a hard one to beat.
