![]() My opinion on the roller rockers is, go with 1.6's ... thats the way Ford designed that motor .... the reason people go to the 1.7's is its a quick way to bump up the lift and the effective duration without changing the cam. Match the cam with the 1.6's to start then if you feel you need a little more lift and duration, you can get it without changing the cam by going to the 1.7's ... by the way the 1.7's do put more stress on your valve train.
As far as RR brand, i got the scorpions. Haven't used them yet but the form fit and finish is great, and they very resonable, (under 200 bucks). Head wise ... anything you can afford to do, do it, but make sure who ever does it knows what they are doing or they won't work as well as stock ones do ! |
