Don't be so hard on him, You could be right, but you could be right out to lunch. He could have busted his ***** working to get that Cobra, Given up many other things and made several sacrifices to get it. On the other had, buddy boy's dad could have just bought the Z, which replaced his 2002 BMW (or whatever), which replaced the 2001 vette (or whatever). He could have daddies gas card, etc. .
