I looked at a lot of cheaper fans cause I didn't want to spend any more than I needed to. Some of them claim pretty high CFM's too, but then they don't come with any type of shroud and I wondered how much air they would pull from the same side of the radiator instead of through it... I ended up buying the Black Magic and have been very happy!
It has a very nice shroud with a nice rubber seal clear around it, has it's own thermostatic switch and A/C relay all built in, comes with the mounting hardware which mounts it to the top and bottom of the raditor not THOUGH the core like most electrics and even come with a mounting bracket for the overflow bottle! I have had more than one friend see it and tell me they wish they had got the Black Magic instead of the cheaper one. Bottom line is it is more money but worth it is worth it. Will other electrics work? Sure, but not as nicely... Good luck with whatever you decide.![]()
