Actually, the 351-M is a 351. In the early 70's they built the 400 for the big passenger cars and trucks. Lots of torque in a low stress engine (low revs) In '78 they destroked it to a 351 by changing the grank and pistons. You can stroke a 351-M the same way. I did it last Summer. New stock 400 crank and stock pistons. Instant 400. Added a 2400 rpm torque convertor and it's one stump pullin 79 Bronco. AND. . . .compared to a Kenworth, it gets pretty good milage.

Oh, and the oldest boy is turning his 89 GT into a FFR cobra this next summer.
