The engine temperature gauge seems to not work at all (always cold). Difficulty to fix?
I had the same problem for a while. It would work and then not work. I opened the hood to find that the connection to the temp sender was not completely connected. There was also some dirt between the connections. Just to be safe though, I went to NAPA and bought for about $3 a new sending unit and cleaned out the connection. Then I got the same problem again and had to squeeze the connection just slightly with a pair of pliers so it would fit snugly and not fall off while driving. It hasn't caused me any problems since.
