I run alot of FP too Rick. I guess I go by the better safe than sorry. My car does load up alot when I run the A/C and it's hot out, but only if I start it within 10 mins of shutting it off. I run about 48 with vaccum off. I just changed my plugs today after 20k miles and about 10 bottles and they looked perfect.

5000cc, you need to be running at least a 190lph fuel pump. I will guarantee that you will not see detonation if you upgrade your fuel pump and get the colder plugs gapped smaller. I have NEVER detonated at all and I'm running a 150 shot.
