Everyone, thanx for the welcome!

cyberstang, and bigred, I live in SW(Hillcroft & Richmond). But, in a couple months I am probably gonna move to Katy, or somewhere near there. I used to work in Houston, but I transfered to Sealy.

Right now, I'm waiting to move so I have a garage to start my project. I still have to do a little research, which is part of the reason I registered here. I'de love any help you guys can give. Especially seeing as how I know absolutely nothing about Ford V8's! It's gonna be fun anyways.
Tomorrow, I'm driving back to So Cal to visit family for a couple weeks. While I'm there I am going to hit a shop to get some more info on what I'm building.
Hopefully when I get back, I can start making a list of everything I'm gonna need. I know off the bat, I am looking for a complete drivetrain out of a Mustang(Engine to rear end). I think I have a line on an '89 5.0, somewhere out in Kemah. If not I'll look around for the parts.

This is gonna sound like a stupid question, but who has built a carb'd 302 from the ground up? I'll be looking for a nice combo for street, with a decent amount of horsepower, but still reliable. If all goes well with this project, next year I want to go psycho!

Once again, thanx for the welcome! And thanx in advance for your guys help!

Later, Al
