to answer yer question.........YES
6/01 i got popped for an 73mph in a 35(whoops!) almost lost my license. the law here in IL says 40+over is immediate grounds for suspension AND time served(30 days i believe) anyways it ended up costing me just over $1000, traffic school, and a bunch of other tickets(cop tore my stang apart) just to keep my license.
