![]() Were you able to pop the end of the throttle cable off of the little ball end that hangs down under the throttle body? Just take a flat head screw driver and give it a little whack with your hand...should pop right off. Not sure what grommet you are reffering to? On my '90GT there is a metal plate that the cable is attached to which is just held onto the T/B or EGR (sorry, not sure which one) with 2 small 3/8 size bolts.
