White GT,

I have the same problem now and I am not crazy about it now either. I am going with a new pump and shaft.

My buddy put a new high volume pump and hardened shaft in his 306 and gets great pressure. When he did his he just loosened the motor mounts and didn't have to pull the motor. He has mechanical gauges and I don't know exactly off hand what his oil pressure is but he likes to brag about it. Good Luck!
