Currently there is not a set national standard for experience or education to become a CPA. The rules vary slightly from state to state, so the best way to find out is to check with the State Board of Accountancy in the state she will get licensed. The flip side to this is that most states do honor the requirements of other states once you are a CPA. Generally speaking it is only an administrative issue to transfer a license.
