Not much you can do with the engine, without spending some money. I have under drive pulley's on my 95 GT and I noticed a difference for sure.

Thanks for the information. I guess adding to the hp is not necessary if the gears "wake the car" up. Is the 3.73 ratio better for low or high end? I am most interested in the 0-75 mph range and am not concerned with top end.
