Default hard top

I agree chunky, why not for the fox? It seems like it would be easy if the top was down to bolt/snap one on.

I've seen the ones on the 95's and they looked good. I think the hard top would be great for the winter and for long trips. It's got to seal a hell of a lot better than the stock conv. top.

Sabre sawing off a notchback's roof/pillar/window area and then trimming it and lining it with rubber seals seems like the easiest way to make one.

I'm actually contimplating going one step further though....

I want to completely remove the conv. top altogether and put on a modified speedster cover to cover the big hole where it was and the back seat (which will be removed). No motors, no top, no frame work and no backseats should get the weight right down on that car. If it rains, I'll just do what I do with my jeep. I've got a strap on cover that reaches from the windshield to the roll bar. Of course, I'll have to get a roll bar for the stang, but I keep it in a garage anyways! And in the bad months, I'll put the hard top on! I think I'm really on to something here!

ok... need to re-adjust budget for 32V IRS Fox Speedster hardtop...

(This car better not suck in the end
