![]() You have to visualize what is going on in the housing and get under the car and set it , what it feels like on the pedal is useless . Get under the car and loosen up the adjuster nut all the way , then tighten it up until there is just a nitch of slack . If you do it right you will be able to break open the tires power shifting third in a completely stock mustang no problem .I know this from experience adjusting clutches on mine and all my friends mustangs for them . But you have to be careful because if you go to loose you will start grinding gears when you power shift. It is all about feel .
