well, I am looking at the new holley heads on my engine stand and the holes for the air intake are the same as the front ones for the accessories. the driver side head has smaller holes for everything else though. but if you swap them the other head comes out the same. there is no left and right head as far as i know, but your friends heads might have inserts in them to make em work with his accessories? I have a pair of 351 heads in my shed i will look at. I know they have bolts blocking the air intakes also.
