Default What to do with 800.00

I have about 800.00 bucks to spend on my car.

Looking at my mods, should I get 4.10s, msd ignition, or something else.

The 800.00 will also include labor...

Thanks,

Tony

Cool

Normally you would see me pushing suspension. Buy you have 18s so I will stay away from it. It looks like you have been to dyno session. I will sugest that you go to a shop that has a dyno but also does tunning. You power seems to be quite shy. It has to be that you have a problem or out of wack tunning. I think that for the money you should gain 50-80 hp just from a correct tune. Good luck, Jason

I'd put the $800 aside and save up for a supercharger. (turbo would be sweet, but seems a little more expensive/copmlicated, but would definitely be bayad). You could swap the auto for a Tremec, you'd probably get a good amount to put towards it selling the auto w/converter. I'm not sure if 4.10's would help you out too much, nitrous seems like a good route also, fairly cheap and isn't pushing your motor all the time like a blower, plus will give you more gains for the price than probably anything else.

I found the problem after the I got the dyno tune numbers...

One of my spark plug boots was completely burned through so the numbers were with on 7 cylinders.

One of the things I'm gonna get for sure is a roll bar. I just bought some 275/50-15s on Convo Pros for the rear.

How much does it cost to fill the bottles.

I was planning on doing a 331 stroker and procharger in about a year so I might hold off on the nitrous.

He's got 3.73s.

Moponys, how does the car run now on all 8? I bet you had a huge smile on your face when you hit it the first time!

It runs great now...

I'm going to the track on 3/8 to really verify my findings.

What do you think? Would 4.10s be much better than the 3.73s that I already have?

Thank you,

Tony

I wouldnt change to 4.10's if you have 373 already.

Also, nothing against shorties, but id get a set of bbk longtubes for your combo, i bet it would gain 15 hp, then you still have money left over??????? ignition? a crane hi6, or msd like you were saying?

just realized lt's dont fit well with an auto, well ignition and subframe connectors would be what id do, dont know what else, maybe a pair of m/t e.t. drags.
