![]() OK so it was the rod bolts that gave you clearence problems? I'm running a stock block, stock rods, ARP rod bolts and cap studs, a Canton 7 qt and either a FRPP or Melling high volume pump.
What I'm worried about is the bearing caps. Do you know if they needed to be clearenced or leveled at all? If I can install this system without having my caps milled I can do it at home. If not I need to bring it to the machine shop. At that point its turning $400 into 5 or $600 and I could have put that into something that will actually make power. I was looking into a Girdle and tray because I am thinking about a supercharger for the summer. |
