![]() the easiest way to side the tranny out is on a small hyd jack. you can pull it away and lower it at the same time. just make sure the trans is balanced on the center of the jack. I always use a jack stand to support the engine at the bell housing. just remember to take the jack out before putting the new trans in. it will be alot easier to line up. While the trans is out replace the throw out bearing. it will save you alot of headaches later.
