![]() You can run up to 14-16 psi of boost pressure, IF you do not have detonation! 1 ping and your toast. If you get the A/F ratio right it is amazing how much power these engines will make stock. But remember NO DETONATION! Ran a 98 Cobra on the dyno with 15 psi boost, EVERYTHING else was STOCK but the Whipplecharger, made 450 rwhp. Put it on the street and the added load of wind resistance and road resistance at 120 plus mph and BANG! out came one connecting rod out of the side of the block! It don't take much to cross the line and ruin everything if you run on the ragged edge.
