Have you adjusted your clutch? Try pulling up on it....or do you have an adjustable quadrant? The cable could be stretching or frayed also, as PeTro mentioned.
As for the clutch I've run a Centerforce dual friction clutch for years now with no complaints what so ever. The thing still feels like brand new. I launching on slicks w/ nitrous & it grabs great. I can race the car all day long and the pedal never gets mushy like the stock one used to. My best 60ft. time is a 1.70. Centerforce has my vote.
