![]() but, your average, run of the mill street duster with a small block is a mid 14's car. now i said average, so dont attack me. i have seen a few as well that are stormers, but they are the exception. i think that it will probably come down to traction and driver ability.
i had a 70 dart with a mild 440 a few years back, i caused a lot of late model performance cars to tuck tail and run. but again, cars that really perform on the street are not common. now all of you folks on the board probably are pretty savvy about tuning and dialing in a carb car, your average joe is not. cant tell you how many hot sounding cars that i have seen that cant "run out of a shower of rain". this guy may be an awesome mechanic and tuner, but odds are that he is not. just my 2 cents ![]()
