Air bleeds atomize the fuel before it hits the barrel. Having "screw in" air bleeds allow you to change the atomization of the fuel.

The two holes in the throttle plate are there to help the idle on the existing car, think of those like and IAC solenoid on an EFI car.

The two numbers on the bowl are the jet sizes that are in the carb.
