Okay, the white wires are for the heater element inside the HEGO. If you wanna hook your lead up to 12V, when it's designed to see only 0.1-0.9V, you'll quickly have a BURNED meter. Trust the dude, k? It's the BLACK wire. And congrats on your acquisition. Now I'm jealous.
